Screen 1
The building was a freight office for a trucking yard. We opened in the fall of 2014 after a year of pulling up linoleum. The projection booth is the old mezzanine. We run a digital projector now, and we still have the platter equipment in the back if a print shows up that we cannot refuse.
Screen 2 has forty-two seats. It was the dispatch room. The ceiling is lower, which is why the picture is smaller and why people who care about their knees ask for it.
Maya runs the booth and the schedule. Andre is at the window from the time the door unlocks until the last trailer. The popcorn is a kettle we bought used in 2016 from a diner in Kearny. It is loud. That is the review.
We are not a chain, we do not have an app, and the membership is a paper card that gets a free ticket on the tenth visit. Andre will know if you are on your ninth.
